The magic of this watch is all in the dial.  Multiple signatures on the lovely dial .  If you are a Seiko collector, this is a rare Japanese bird for you!


Dunn's Assessment:
Wowww!!  This Seiko is a symbol for the lovers of the show as well as those who want to fight corporate corruption.  Well, maybe not so much the latter, but you get my point! 


Story behind the watch:
Hanzawa Naoki is the protagonist's name in one of Japan's most popular TV mini-series ever made of the same name.  An idealistic banker working for the largest bank in Japan, Tokyo Chuo Banking Corporation, Naoki Hanzawa takes on corruption using his wit and financial expertise.  This rare JDM Seiko model is a collaboration with the TV show.  The famous quote "If you've done it to me, I'll pay you back by 100 times!" and the drama logo was printed on the see-through case back of the watch.  The dial has four signatures on it: Seiko, the name of the show, the insignia of the show, as well as the name of the bank where the character works.  A true gem for any Seiko collector and especially if you are a fan of this mini-series.  We would recommend replacing the flimsy metal bracelet, perhaps for a nice OEM leather strap.
